Gigabyte has announced the release of its latest high-end graphics card, the GV-N595U-GT. The card is powered by nVidia’s highest-performing GeForce FX chipset.

Gigabyte has announced the release of its latest high-end graphics card, the GV-N595U-GT. The card is powered by nVidia’s highest-performing GeForce FX chipset, the 5950 Ultra and features a core clock speed of 520MHz. Gigabyte claims that the card is suitable for a wide variety of applications from advanced 3D gaming to digital and video cinematography. The card comes with a comprehensive set of outputs including DVI and TV-out. The DVI connection ensures high-quality graphics output from your digital monitor while the integrated TV encoder provides TV-out functionality for greater media flexibility. Other key features include what Gigabyte dubs a unique cooling system to keep your PC gaming on course, even when running the card at maximum performance. This card also comes with 256MB of on-board memory and 256-bit memory interface, which helps to provides the oomph to power the realistic, high-resolution textured environments that are commonplace in today’s games. A key element in the card’s performance is nVidia’s CineFX 2.0 engine, which offers graphics with stunning cinematic effects in vivid true color. The engine’s advanced vertex and pixel shader capabilities bring billions of color variations to character images and their surroundings while the increased engine speed provides the benefits of quicker and smoother gameplay. nVidia’s Intellisample technology also enhances performance. The GV-N595U-GT supports both DirectX 9.0 and Open GL 1.5 for complete compatibility with the current and next generation of games and software. The card is compatible with an AGP 8X slot and offers a throughput of 2.1GB/sec. The nVidia nView feature allows users to work in multiple monitor environments with flexibility of view as well as ease of control for all monitors. Finally, the VIVO functionality offers video capture for video editing.
