Asus has proved quick off the blocks with its latest line of motherboards supporting the newly released Intel Pentium 4 Processor with Prescott core. These processors run at 3.2GHz and higher. All current and future AsusS motherboards supporting 800MHz FSB are compatible with the latest processor. The Intel Pentium 4 Processor 3.2GHz+ brings new rich features to the mainstream desktop segment including 1MB on-die L2 cache (current solutions remain at 512KB), 16KB L1 data cache, Hyper-Threading Technology and 13 new instructions taking advantage of the industry-leading 90nm process technology. Since the Prescott Pentium 4 Processor 3.2GHz+ is more powerful than previous Pentium 4 cores, Asus has incorporated an advanced power design into its motherboards to enhance stability.
