Epson sparks fire

Epson introduces its new large format printers to the region with a splash at its Business Solutions seminar in Dubai. The seminar focused on solutions to help ‘colour the office’.

Epson has introduced two large format printers, the Colour Proofer 7600 and Colour Proofer 9600, to the region. Epson claims that these UltraChrome ink-using printers produce high quality with exceptional longevity due to enhancement provided by the seven ink colours that boost tonal ranges and gradations. The Colour Proofer 9600 offers a large format Postscript solution, running on the Windows platform. The Colour Proofer also uses Fiery Spark Professional 2.0 software, incorporating Colorwise 3.0 advanced colour management for the complete range of Epson large format media, and a high quality Epson halftoning module for smooth gradients and stunning prints. Features include industry standard press and proofing simulations, visual tiling and nesting, hot folder support, print preview, Fiery Web Tools software, Pantone spot colour support and an ICC profile downloader for custom profiles.
