LG Electronics (LGE) is set to give a new spin to its name and brand slogan in the Middle East and Africa with the side caption ‘Life’s Good’, which perhaps not coincidentally shares the same initials as the company. The new concept has already been successfully rolled out in a number of other international territories and will now feature in all of LGE Middle East and Africa’s marketing and communications programmes. “After a number of successful years running its ‘Digitally Yours’ brand slogan in the region, LGE is reinforcing its commitment to getting closer to its customers and enriching their lives,” says Hamad Malik, senior manager, marketing and communications, LG Electronics Middle East and Africa. “Part of that promise is reflected in the brand slogan, ‘Life’s Good’, as it reflects LGE’s intention to enhance the way people interact with its products and improve their quality of living,” he adds. In accordance with the new slogan, the brand imagery for LGE is also set to undergo a similar change. “It’s a very simple communication device but it says everything about what LG Electronics as a brand is achieving,” comments Malik. “The customer is at the centre of every thought and action of LG team members and ‘Life’s Good’, will be their new mantra for the Middle East and Africa.” With the ever-increasing range of multinational vendors in the channel, branding is becoming a vital tool for developing market awareness, and LG is not alone in playing with their brand slogans. Expect more on this front soon.
