MicroWorld Technologies has launched X-Spam, an intelligent anti-Spam software built using advanced concepts to protect your corporate MailServers. This is the latest addition to the extensive suite of MicroWorld's award winning content security products. The software uses a series of regular expression tests and performs advanced heuristics scanning of mails. The tests allow the software to differentiate between accidental occurrence of words like sex, porn, etc, from deliberate spam. Email headers, metadata, scripts, body, attachments and so on are scanned for restricted and malformed content that may indicate spam. X-Spam also uses Dialup Users Lists, Real-time DNS Blacklists, Domain Verification and e-mail address/domain blacklists for Spam prevention at the mail Gateway. Spam can be auto detected and blocked even before it enters your mailbox. The application allows you to create a black/white list of Spammers, restricted words and customised regular expressions.
