EOS claims to manage US$700 Million in B2B transactions

EOS Technologies, MENA has announced that its regional online exchange has transacted over US$700 million in the last six months of operations. The B2B player is targeting business transactions worth US$1 billion by April 2004.

EOS Technologies MENA has announced that their recent Middle East growth has surpassed targets and currently manages business spending of over US$700 Million in the last six months. “Oman is an example of what can be achieved when the local business sector and government bodies get together to improve their business processes using the latest technology. The result is that Oman is the most 'e-enabled' country in the Middle East where over 80% of the business community is connected, making it one of the most e-enabled countries in the world,” says Alan Livingston, CEO, EOS, MENA operations. The online B2B (business to business) company reportedly has over 3,000 members in the Middle East and claims to be the largest e-business exchange in the region. EOS MENA has plans to grow their presence in the region even further with the introduction of additional local exchanges in a number of countries over the next few months, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE. The B2B player is targeting business transactions worth US$1 billion by April 2004.
