Dubai Mall will house 5 million Ft2 of retail space in addition to residential and retail amenities.

Dubai Mall will house 5 million Ft2 of retail space in addition to residential and retail amenities. More than 1,000 inquires from retailers have already been received, claimed promoter and developer, Emaar Properties. The mall itself, equivalent to the size of more than 50 international-class soccer grounds, will be the largest shopping space in the world. Contained within its three level glass facade, the mall will feature distinct themed areas, including the Waterfront Atrium, Palm Boulevard, Aquarium, Boardwalk and the Grand Drive. The mall will also feature the world’s largest gold souk. Dubai Mall is an integral part of the Burj Dubai project and as such will offer views of the world’s tallest tower and the surrounding skyline. Hotels, private residences, cinemas and entertainment sites will radiate out in a series of ellipses from the base of the tower.
