National Aviation Services (NAS), the recently launched ground handling company, has secured more customers for its Kuwait International operations. It is now performing ground handling for SriLankan Airlines, the US Air Force and a number of private freighters. The company has also agreed to market the private jet services of Saudi Arabia’s National Air Services in Kuwait. NAS is offering the full range of ground handling services at Kuwait, including aircrat assistance, as well as commerical services, such as its Al Hala ‘meet and greet’ service. Airlines are now signing up with NAS, including the Sri Lankan flag carrier. “For SriLankan, we are going to give all the aircraft assistance at the airport… and over and above that we are going to give them the special services,” explains Nabil Arif, general manager, commercial & support services, NAS. For Saudi’s National Air Services, NAS is to be the company’s Kuwaiti partner. “ We will be marketing their product… and we will be their technical representatives,” explains Arif.
