Business Strategies Group (BSG) has opened the doors to its Saudi Arabian office as it looks to tap into the Kingdom's growing investment in IT. The move is part of the company's ongoing expansion plans and BSG, which is a regional distributor for Business Objects, believes Saudi presents a huge business opportunity.

"The Kingdom represents a huge market within the GCC region and we felt the time was right to have a strong direct presence there," says Nasser Tufail, managing director at BSG.

"Being closer to our customers and developing stronger local partnerships is central to our business vision and this is one of the key objectives that this office will be working towards," he adds.

BSG already boasts a number of customers for its business intelligence solutions within the Kingdom, including Saudi American Bank, Bank Al Saudi Al Fransi, Saudi Telecom, Saudi British Bank, Abdul Latif Jameel Group, Savola Group, Arabian Cement and Balsam Healthcare. However, by establishing a direct presence within the Kingdom, BSG hopes it will be able to grow this client base yet further.

"By opening an office in Riyadh, we are able to respond more promptly to customer requirements and better educate our partners on our products and technology," says Raheel J. Khan, territory manager, BSG.

"We plan to conduct more activities for the benefit of the community at large and are eager to add value in Saudi Arabia," he adds.
