The 1200m¦ area will house 40 DIC business partners over the five-day event, giving them a platform from which to entice show visitors with their various products and services.

"GITEX is the ideal platform for ICT companies to explore vast global and regional business opportunities," says Dr Omar Bin Sulaiman, CEO of DIC. "Participating together with our business partners, who are the very backbone of DIC, furthers DIC's mission of providing partners with both the environment and infrastructure they need to excel to ultimately develop the ICT industry in the Middle-East and ascertain Dubai as the regional ICT hub," he adds.

Although a full list of companies has yet to be unveiled, the free zone is already promising a 'steady flow of exciting entertainment' and the partner area will feature a wide range of information technology vendors.
