Despite only announcing its entry into the fast growing wireless networking market in the last few weeks, Foundry Networks will be giving Gitex vendors an opportunity to check out its solutions and gain an insight into its wireless message.

The vendor will be introducing its IronPoint product family and wireless strategy, which it claims will deliver robust, scalable, flexible and secure wireless networking to enterprise users. Foundry will be showcasing its IronPoint Access Points and IronWare Layer 2 switch, as well as demonstrating its integration with other products from its existing switching families.

The networking vendor will also be exhibiting its latest products, including its upgraded IronWare operating system (OS) for its ServerIron Layer 4-7 switches. Version 9.0 of the operating system will offer users significant enhancements to server and network security, application traffic intelligence and manageability of servers and load balancing, says Foundry Networks.
