ACCPAC's Middle East operations will be three years old this Gitex. To celebrate, the vendor will not only be touting its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, but it will also be focusing on its customer relationship management (CRM) applications.

Originally launched in January 2002, this autumn's show will see the debut of a new version of APPAC's CRM package. However, at the time of going to press, the vendor was tight lipped over what those enhancements may be.

"Along with live demonstrations of the unique capabilities of ACCPAC business applications, we will be launching another first in the CRM market," says Marc Van der Ven, general manager, ACCPAC Middle East. "Our new CRM launch in October adds another capability that will expand our midmarket reach, open up business opportunities to our partners, and help our customers capitalise on their previous investments in technology," he adds.

ACCPAC's various Gitex demonstrations will take place on a variety of hardware and software platforms, as the vendor espouses its openness and ability to operate on different platforms, databases and deployment options.

"Our global product development strategy allows our customers to leverage their previous and current investments in technology platforms, thanks to the scalability and interoperability of our technology," says Van der Ven.
