Visitors to the Veritas stand this year will be met with a deluge of information as the vendor talks up its wide range of products and addresses what it sees as critical business issues within the Middle East, such as storage management and business continuity.

Furthermore, the company will be bringing the local market up to speed on its acquisition of Jareva Technologies and Precise Software Solutions.

"We won't just be talking about products, but we will be talking about wider business issues, like business continuity and disaster recovery. Only then will we highlight how Veritas products can help users address these issues," says Mike Hynes, regional manager for Veritas Middle East.

"We'll also be talking about application performance management and storage resource management. Furthermore, we will be telling people about how our acquisitions have moved us into new areas and how important it is for customers not to get locked into proprietary solutions," he adds.
