SAS targets local market with BI

With implementations already in operation at a number of leading organisations around the region, SAS is looking to grow its customer base in the region's key vertical markets, such as oil & gas, telecoms and finance, yet further.

With implementations already in operation at a number of leading organisations around the region, SAS is looking to grow its customer base in the region's key vertical markets, such as oil & gas, telecoms and finance, yet further.

Gitex is key to this drive and during the show the vendor will be demonstrating its wide range of business intelligence (BI) solutions and services.

"Through our participation [in Gitex], we will be able to provide visitors from the finance, telecommunications, oil & gas and government sectors with live demonstrations on SAS business intelligence solutions which are developed uniquely to address their requirements," says Basel Tutunji, regional Manager of SAS in the Middle East & North Africa.

For the banking community, SAS will be promoting its credit scoring solution, which helps finance houses accurately develop internal models and track credit risk scores, while users from the local telecoms industry will be able to learn about SAS' telecommunications intelligence solutions.
