Jordan Telecom (JT) is hunting for clients for its outsourcing call centre, opened earlier this year. The JT Contact Centre is offering a range of services, such as telemarketing, telesales, web collaboration and first tier customer support to companies from around the region.

"We want to take the lead in this business and attract customers to the Kingdom," says Ziad Hamzeh, operational marketing manager, project manager for JT Contact Centre. "This is a regional call centre. We hope to have customers coming here, and setting up to serve the Middle East and eventually Europe and North America," he adds.

According to Hamzeh, JT's Contact Centre has a number of key features that will help it attract companies. The call centre will have access to a cheap, skilled multilingual workforce, a sound IP-enabled infrastructure, strong government support and a competitive international call rate. "We have had a lot of customers interested, both from the local market and from a regional standpoint," says Hamzeh.
