Canon Middle East has released its latest office product, the imageCLASS D320, a laser copier and printer in one machine.

With optional networking, the imageCLASS is designed to cater for workgroups, small businesses and SOHO operations.

“The imageCLASS D320 is another way that Canon is bringing higher quality imaging and economy to users in this region,” says Michel Sabbagh, Marketing Manager of Canon Middle East. “The affordable imageCLASS D320 will help a broader category of users migrate from analogue to digital technology to enjoy new benefits and efficiencies.”

Delivering black and white documents at high resolution, the imageCLASS D320 produces 600x600dpi copies and prints at speeds of up to 14 pages per minute.

The machine performs data rendering on the PC before transferring the job to the printer. By processing data on the ever-faster CPU and RAM hardware of the PC, large-capacity data can be handled at high speeds without necessitating printer memory upgrades.

“The imageCLASS D320 introduces new standards of convenience to office printing and copying. With electronic collating to sort copies into the correct order, 2-on-1 copying to fit two originals onto an A4 page and an all-in-one cartridge to minimise maintenance, the imageCLASS D320 packages Canon’s advanced technology in a simple to use device,” adds Sabbagh.

The copier can deliver up to 14 copies or prints per minute, a rapid fusing system eliminates warm-up time and reduces energy consumption and the copier is capable of reducing and enlarging images between a range of 50% to 200%.

Using the Toner Saver Mode, the imageCLASS D320 reduces toner consumption by approximately 20 percent and the machine has an energy-save mode to reduce power usage.
