UAE-based technology training centre awarded prestigious Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status for meeting company's global training standards.

Becoming the first training centre in the region to be acknowledged of such an award, CompuBase has received the accolade of Microsoft Gold Partner after complying with a strict criteria-set by the software giant-on levels of successful implementations, capabilities, certification, and other qualities.

"Microsoft Gold Certified Partners are required to meet rigorous requirements for certification and expertise. CompuBase has reached the status of Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions by demonstrating increased levels of developer certification, deep real-world experience, and by providing completed customer reference projects that were independently verified," said Abdullatif Al-Mulla, general manager Microsoft South Gulf.

Ayman Khaleel, managing director at CompuBase, said the award reflected the commitment the staff had put into the training centre. "Since we established our first training centre in the UAE, CompuBase has upheld the best training standards in terms of our professionally skilled and trained staff, our state of the art technology and conducive educational environment."

"Our latest achievement with Microsoft is a testament to our on going commitment to providing the youth of the UAE with the best technology training to help increase their skills and enhance their competitive edge in the market," continued Khaleel.

Since its establishment in 1994, over 12,000 employees from 3,000 organisations both in the private and public sectors in the UAE have graduated from CompuBase with high level training certifications. Nearly 51% of IT recruitment placements in the UAE are absorbed by government and public sector institutions, and CompuBase has been a fertile training ground for such institutions to tap into.

"The UAE is the region's technology hub, mainly due to outstanding projects such as the Dubai Internet City and Knowledge Village," commented Khaleel. "Our mission at CompuBase is to provide skills for the knowledge economy through high tech training."
