Genius Computer Technology (GCT) has expanded its presence at this year's Gitex show, with a new stand that is three times larger than previous years. GCT, KYE's leading distributor for Middle East and Africa now has a 144 square metre stand, which it will be using to showcase Genius brand products for channel partners.

Milad Jabbour, managing director of GCT commented: "Visitors this year will see more space and more products at our stand than in previous years. During the build up to Gitex, we have launched over 70 new products."

GCT's stand is focused on giving channel partners a better look at the Genius range. The peripherals range, one of Genius' leading lines, will be displayed along with its range of networking products. A dedicated retail area will show the latest consumer product lines, including digital cameras, home theatre systems and DVD players.

"With the latest products from Genius, GCT and its channel partners have been able to tap into the retail segment and help increase market share in this area through on the ground support," said Jihad Youssef, sales manager at GCT.

Also on the stand will be GCT's sister company, Shazar, which will be showing its line of retail-orientated products, including storage media, specialised cabling for consumer AV and phone accessories.
Offering the most cost-effective products without compromising quality, coupled with value-add through technical support, RMA and delivery of goods means that we offer complete solutions that help our partners increase profit margin. This strategy has seen us grow in double-digit figures year-on-year," Jabbour added.
