Peribit Networks, the instant WAN capacity and application acceleration company, has announced plans to showcase its latest technology at this year's Gitex 2003 for the Middle East market.

The company is expected to launch its breakthrough technology in the latest version of its Sequence Reducer software.

"Our technology may sound complicated, but the advantages for business in the region are easy to understand. It identifies data flow and pattern similarities across WANs, and then enables companies to reduce useless, repetitive data, cutting down on the time it takes to complete a transmission by as much as 70% or more," says Shane Buckley, president, EMEA, Peribit Networks.

The Middle East is recognized as a prime market for Peribit, as growing numbers of enterprises are looking for ways to improve the productivity of their networks and manage the significant volume of information generated by their day-to-day business operations.

The company said a number of leading organizations in the region are investing in Peribit solutions, ranging from government agencies in the UAE to financial institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Executives at Peribit are confident that Gitex 2003 will generate further interest in the value and savings associated with their technology.

As well as demonstrations of their new products, Peribit experts would be on their stand to discuss how their solutions can maximize the efficiency and impact of the operations of organizations in the government, defense, energy, telecoms and retail sectors.
