Swiss WorldCargo, the air cargo division of Swiss International Air Lines, and Polar Air Cargo have signed an Appointed Sales Agent (ASA) agreement covering all sales activities in the UAE for Polar Air flights into and out of Dubai.

The deal includes all aspects of customer services, indoor sales and warehouse supervising duties, as well as additional services like loading and warehouse supervision in order to optimise the allocated capacity for each Polar Air Cargo flight.

"We are very pleased with this new partnership, as it will ensure customers continue to receive the outstanding professional service and attention that they have come to expect from both Swiss WorldCargo and Polar Air Cargo," says Vasco Furtado, regional manager, the Gulf, Iran & Sri Lanka, Swiss WorldCargo.

Both airlines have a similar deal in India and will be looking to tap into the Middle East market by offering a range of services and a variety of capacities and destinations out of Dubai International Airport.
