3M Gulf is at Gitex this week as it seeks to cash in on the booming IT market in the region.

3M Gulf is part of the US$16 billion diversified technology company 3M, which has leading positions in a range of sectors including consumer and office; display and graphics; electronics and telecommunications; healthcare; industrial; safety, security and protection services, as well as transportation. Is at Gitex this week as it seeks to cash in on the booming IT market in the region.

“The Middle East market is growing at a 10% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), thus the big interest 3M is attaching to this vital market,” says Ramzi Nassif, sales & marketing executive at 3M Gulf.

3M is looking to undertake a range of activities at the show, including attracting new channel partners to extend its market reach. The company is also seeking to promote awareness of its cabling products.

“At Gitex 2003, we have been meeting new potential partners in our drive to establish a regional network with consumer and enterprise re-seller appointments across the Middle East. Moreover, Gitex is a good opportunity to stress the presence of 3M in the structured cabling market as a leader in copper and fiber technologies and to increase visibility in this important market,” adds Nassif.

At Gitex 2003, the company is showcasing its Volition Network Solutions which includes complete end-to-end premises wiring solutions for copper, hybrid or fiber optical networks designed to provide users with a smooth network migration plan for the future.
