Redwood Technologies, is using Gitex to build on its recent success securing a contract with the Nigerian telecommunications company Nitel. Redwood will provide RedRouter, its prepaid communications solution.

Nitel's new service will see residential subscriber landlines converted to prepaid dial tone, allowing subscribers to make calls only if their accounts are in credit.

Redwood develops systems and technologies for intelligent network services platforms and for communications servers. Central to its products is the RTSinfonia architecture, developed specifically for building scalable, multi-service communications servers. B1-34
