eHosting DataFort expands security suite

eHosting DataFort (EHDF) is showcasing the recent consolidation of the eHosting Centre and DataFort subsidiaries into a single company.

Electronic security is the issue on every IT manager's mind and many a chief executive's these days. That makes Gitex a perfect opportunity for eHosting DataFort (EHDF), the electronic security subsidiary of Dubai Internet City, to make an impact.

The company has recently gone through a restructuring that will see the closer consolidation of the eHosting Centre and DataFort subsidiaries into a single company. The new, re-energised operation will be drawing attention to the changes at Gitex, where its slogan will be: 'You Dream IT, We Build IT, We Manage IT and We Secure IT.'

"This year's Gitex marks the consolidation of two specialised companies into a single entity that provides one of the most comprehensive set of e-business services worldwide," said Sameer Sadeh, chief executive officer.

"Ranging from managed hosting and IT security, to disaster recovery services, EHDF caters to all organisations seeking to acquire significant competitive advantage through improved business performance, cost reduction and revenue enhancement."

Besides the corporate changes, the company is also busy building up its e-security solutions portfolio. eHosting DataFort's technology services now include co-location, managed hosting, outsourcing, security auditing, security penetration testing, disaster recovery and business continuity services. It also provides security awareness training for technical and non-technical personnel.

Over the last year, EHDF has expanded its reach to the Gulf Region, Middle East, Africa and the Indian subcontinent. EHDF says its regional channel partners will figure prominently at its stand and that it is keen use Gitex as an opportunity to raise their profile.

EHDF's partners include Lebanon's Softflow, eTech Systems and Transdata from Jordan, Jeraisy and Inma Technologies from Saudi Arabia, Oman's OCS, Al Moayyed from Bahrain and the UAE's Seven Seas and CNS. B6-1
