FIC is bringing its full arsenal of computing hardware to the show floor today. The Taiwanese vendor is offering visitors a comprehensive view of its components business and its full line of PC and notebook systems.

"We've split our stand into two - the components business and the Everex systems business," says Syed Muneer Uddin, business development & marketing manager, FIC.
"We're showing a number of very aggressively priced products, particularly on the systems side," he adds.

Taking pride of place on FIC's stand in hall 3 is the vendor's range of mobile computing hardware. According to Uddin, FIC was among the first vendors to start shipping Centrino-enabled notebooks to the region and it has already achieved considerable success with the wireless enabled laptops.

"The notebook market has been booming. We're recommending notebooks to our customers," says Uddin. "The falling price on notebook computers has made them a viable option for many customers," he adds.

Alongside the Everex range of notebook hardware, FIC is also displaying its range of Tablet PCs. Attendees will be able to view the Diamond and Convertible models of the Tablet PCs on show today.

"The Convertible Tablet PC has a screen that can be rotated 360 degree, allowing users to use it like a conventional notebook or like a touch-screen Tablet PC," Uddin explains.
