Foundry Networks is offering show visitors an insight into its recently released wireless offerings. Technical staff are also on hand to provide additional product information and detail Foundry's wireless roadmap.

The vendor is introducing its IronPoint product family and wireless strategy, which it claims will deliver robust, scalable, flexible and secure wireless networking to enterprise users.

Foundry is showcasing its IronPoint a/b/g multimode Access Points and IronWare Layer 2 switch, as well as demonstrating their integration with products from its existing switching families.

"The first product is a full featured AP with strong security and centralised management capabilities or single unit management. The product can be used as a stand alone unit for a very small application, like a coffee house supplying wireless," says Philip Kwan, director of enterprise applications, Foundry Networks.

The networking vendor is also exhibiting its latest product introductions, including its upgraded IronWare operating system (OS) for its ServerIron Layer 4-7 switches.
