Nortel Networks is highlighting its array of voice, video and data solutions. The vendor is carrying out a number of live demonstrations to showcase concepts such as 'office anywhere', 'engage your customers' and advanced business connectivity.

Nortel is also drawing attention to its carrier class and security offerings. As such, its stand is packed with a host of wireless local area network (WLAN), Gigabit Ethernet, IP telephony, power over Ethernet, IPSec and SSL virtual private network (VPN) solutions.

Demonstrations include a Gigabit Ethernet converged network built around Nortel's 8600 Passport switch routers and carrying voice, video and data; a second converged network using the vendor's Business Communication Manager (BCM) IP telephony solution is designed to explain how Ethernet can power IP phones.

A WLAN has also been set up with connected PDAs and laptops, alongside Contivity solutions for remote workers and branch offices.
