3 Continents Networks and Communications is working together with its partners to demonstrate a range of different voice and networking solutions.

Visitors to hall 7 can experience a host of products, ranging from interactive voice response (IVR) and call centre solutions to structured cabling offerings. Another highlight is the POS concentration services for financial institutions and telcos, which are available from Tiesse.

Other partners under the 3 Continents banner include ITT Industries NSS, Virtual Access and Voxtron. NSS offers a range of Category 6 structured cabling systems, but an intrusion detection product from the vendor known as Lansense is also on display.

The Virtual Access products are designed to provide simplified management and ease of use, as is exemplified in its Simple Managed Gateway (SMG). The product, which is a professionally managed CPE offers zero touch configuration, enabling users to simply plug & play.

The device automatically detects and applies network settings and configurations before providing users with intranet access. Additionally, security integrity is maintained by the presence of a firewall and VPN capabilities.

Furthermore, Tiesse is looking to strengthen its position in the banking and telcoms sectors at this year's show. The vendor already cites a number of large European financial institutions and operators among its customers, but is hoping to attract regional organisations to its POS concentrator services as well.

The concentrators are designed to reduce the connection times required to clear transactions and connections without the need to upgrade the communications infrastructure. For banks and telcos this is particularly pertinent as they are usually the ones to bear the transaction costs.

3 Continents is already receiving interest from the UAE, Oman and Egypt for the Tiesse products, but it is looking to solidify this demand with the introduction of the vendor's latest device, Imola.
