For this year's Gitex meBANK is exhibiting a diverse range of product offerings instead of focusing on one particular area.

This shift in strategy signifies the bank's evolution from being solely an internet bank, as it was when it first appeared at the show two years ago, to being a fully-integrated retail banking division of Emirates Bank.

Louis Scotto, general manager retail banking at Emirates Bank says: "We have such a wide selection of activities on our stand at Gitex this year, which is unlike other years, where we have just featured one or two products."

One new product is the meSTATION, a drive-through area which allows customers to withdraw cash and carry out other transactions in the comfort of their car.

Each meSTATION has a cash and cheque deposit machine and an internet connected computer station which enables the customer to open accounts as well as access products and services which are available from a standard internet connected meBANK PC.

"Our meSTATION concept is very exciting as it is a completely new move for us and mirrors our aim of providing quick and easy banking," adds Scotto.

Emirates Bank is also promoting its Al Shaheen Club, a priority banking service, at Gitex andwill also use the show to unveil a new face for its meBOX service, which it is making available from all branches.

"We look forward to welcoming curious visitors to our Gitex stand to explain more about all these products," claims Scotto.
