MaxComm, the Taiwanese telecomms solutions provider, is displaying a range of new products at Gitex 2003.

The vendor has put its wireless hotspot MW-5000 on show and is launching a wireless booster and booster antenna, which the vendor claims can double the distance covered by 802.11b and g-based networks.

The antenna, which employs Time Division Duplex (TDD) technology, can extend the signal range of wireless devices in the 2.4GHz band, including those using Bluetooth, P2P, P2MP, 802.11b, 802.11b+, 802.11g, and 802.11g+ technology. K8-12
