Digital Device, the South Korean digital audio-visual product manufacturer, is aiming to boost its reputation in the Middle East with the launch of new features for its plasma display panel (PDP) devices at this year's event.

The supplier will be displaying new features added recently to its aluminium, flat-screen PDP and LCD TV sets and monitors, which range from 15 to 61 inches.

The functions added include improved picture quality and two built-in tuners to allow the devices to receive terrestrial and cable broadcasts without the need for an additional set-top box.

Picture in picture (PIP) functionality has also been integrated so that viewers can watch two broadcasts at the same time.

Digital Device recently started an advertising campaign in Lebanon to increase its brand visibility in the region, and is aiming to foster distribution partnerships with OEM customers and retailers throughout the Middle East and Africa. K8-43
