Eskadenia has ramped up its bid for Middle Eastern customers with the launch of a range of new products at Gitex 2003. The software provider, which has offices in Jordan, the UAE and the UK, is showcasing new software for insurers and the latest version of its content management system, CMS.

The CMS system is a tool allowing companies to create their own websites and manage, edit and publish content. The solution is being pitched by Eskadenia as a means of streamlining the website administration process and making sites more lively and dynamic through features such as SMS, chat and online payment.

Also being promoted at Gitex is Eskadenia's Insures system, which is designed for companies in the general and medical insurance sectors. The system automates the insurance life cycle, reduces operational costs, simplifies processes, maintains historical data and ensures security. It can also be modified for specific customers and changing insurance regulations.

With multimedia messaging services (MMS) being rolled out by mobile operators across the region, Eskadenia's MMS centre (MMSc) is also being launched at the show. The MMSc is scaleable and is being offered alongside Eskadenia's multi-access portal and software to allow customers to develop messages on the web.

"In two or three years all operators in the Middle East will have MMS," says Bassam Madi, VP of business development and sales at Eskadenia. B8-1
