Brother is using GITEX to showcase its recently released multi-function print product, the MFC-8820D. The new model provides five different functions - plain paper faxing, laser printing, digital copying, colour scanning and PC faxing. It is designed for home and office use, as well as for small business workgroups.

Designed with a flatbed scanning area, that accommodates single-sheets or bound documents up to the length of legal paper, the new MFC prints up to 16 pages per minute. Its features include increased memory capacity and a five-line backlit LCD display. MFC 8820D boasts duplex printing (prints on both sides of a sheet of paper), prints from PC, multi-page incoming fax messages and copies of documents photocopied.
