APC is planning to capitalise on the growth of its InfraStruXure (IFX) family during this year's Gitex. The last year has seen healthy returns from the high-end UPS range and the vendor believes more is yet to come.

"We've had a very successful year with IFX since we introduced it in the region," says Philip Hughes, general manager, Middle East & Pakistan.

As such, APC is showcasing the flexibility and integration capabilities of its IFX products, as well as demonstrating their value in data centre environments. To further strengthen the appeal of its products, the vendor is working closely with its channel partners and infrastructure providers, including IBM and Cisco Systems.

APC's Back-Ups and Smart-Ups products are also on display for visitors to hall 7. The latest products from both families are being showcased, including the Back-Ups ER1000 model.
