Sony business Middle East is wooing visitors to its stand with a powerful combination of broadcast and boardroom solutions that promise to change the way businesses communicate internally and externally. To promote this theme more effectively, the vendor has divided its stand into three dedicated zones - an integrated audio visual (A/V) solutions area, a fully integrated boardroom, and a digital solutions area.

"The Sony stand highlights the latest in broadcast, professional communication and AV/IT applications to organisations and individuals working in the fields of media and entertainment, business, retail, education, healthcare, construction and government," says Nigel Thompson, A/V marketing manager, Sony Business MEABroadcast Solutions.

The integrated A/V solutions display includes the vendor's complete range of professional integrated digital A/V solutions for the corporate world; from acquisition with the DVCAM camcorder line-up; through post-production using DV Station and EditMaster none-linear editing (NLE) series and DVCAM VTRs; to final storage and distribution on Sony's media archive platform. One key solution making its debut at Gitex is the Sony DV station, which represents a new range of the vendor's software products allowing NLE workstations to be networked and to produce and manage A/V material for distribution to virtually any device.

Alongside this showcase, Sony has set up a fully integrated corporate boardroom to demonstrate how a various combination of integrated solutions can help enterprises enhance their presentations and making their business communication more efficient. Key solutions here include Sony's latest Video Conferencing systems, integrated audio conference systems, network projectors and IP Cameras. In the third zone, Sony is showing how its signage solutions can keep customers updated on the latest promotions in shopping malls and other retail stores.
