Digital imaging software developer, ACD Systems, is at Gitex to promote its latest range of solutions to the Middle East market.

The provider, based in Canada, is demonstrating the latest version of its flagship product, ACDSee 6.0, which includes improved browsing and rating features.

The software, launched in September, allows users to burn their photos to CDs and DVDs. The provider has also attempted to solve the problem of managing large volumes of images by integrating upgraded sorting and searching functions and a feature allowing users to select multiple folders and categories and receive a combined view of all images that are contained within them.

Also being demonstrated at ACD Systems' stand is an updated version of its ACD FotoSlate photo printing programme for the consumer and small business market, which lets users create greeting cards, calendars and contact sheets and includes improved image colour management technology.

Additionally, Canvas 9, the provider's technical drawing programme technical illustrator, engineer, scientist, design and business communications professionals, will be on show.

The product includes image editing, advanced vector illustration, page layout, web graphics and presentation features. It is available in three versions; Professional; Scientific Imaging; and GIS Mapping Editions. G8-1
