Feng Shui plays a key part in the design of the DIC Community Zone, a stand that aims to unite old and new. Designed by the Design People and assembled by Al Habtoor Interiors, the stand incorporates the key elements of Feng Shui along with two tunnels that symbolically point towards the future.

“Combining the future with the past, the stand has embodied the ancient principles of Feng Shui by having all the five elements represented: wood, fire, water, light and wind. This has been incorporated to bring good energy to all participating partners and to DIC, as well as to reflect the actual natural surrounds present in DIC — the lakes, lawns and plants,” explains Design People's architect, Elie Dib.
