Promoting IT solutions from the Emerald Isle in hall five this year is Invest Northern Ireland (INI).

The Dubai Internet City(DIC)-based group is representing a range of firms that hope to expand their operations in the Middle East.
Staff from INI are particularly promoting the services of four Irish companies that are exhibiting at Gitex 2003: Sugarcube, a wireless marketing company that specialises in SMS solutions; Memsis, an e-learning company based in Belfast; Asidua, an IT consultancy service and Tyrone Fabrication, which offers communication and cable management services to the region.

INI’s Dubai representative, Michael Craig, says: “Northern Ireland is rapidly becoming one of Europe’s most dynamic centres of excellence. Companies from Northern Ireland offer a wealth of expertise and experience in the latest e-technologies. Original ideas to harness the business potential of the internet and multimedia technologies are on display at the INI stand. H5-2
