Tech Access is demonstrating the breadth of its expertise with different partners this year, by hosting showcases of its 'test before you invest' approach to solutions with a number of key partners.

As Sun Microsystem's Middle East channel development partner, the company already has a very strong bond with Sun, but Tech Access will also be demonstrating its capabilities with solutions showcases with software partners SAP, Oracle and Computer Associates.

Shomail Ghalib, managing director of Tech Access says that the company is aiming to raise awareness of its Tech Access Solutions Centre, the region's only authorised Sun iForce Ready Centre.

"The Tech Access Solutions Centre is becoming a key resource for businesses in the Middle East, and we wanted to demonstrate its wide utility and the scope of solutions on offer at this year's Gitex," Ghalib explains. "Through our participation in this event, and through our extension of the Solutions Centre, we hope to further strengthen Sun's market share in the region."

The Tech Access Solutions Centre aims to provide a proof-of-concept testing centre, that allows Sun's vendor and channel partners to work together to develop and display solutions to customers.

Areas of expertise that Tech Access specialises in include strategy development, collaborative design, system integration and application integration.

"Part of the core strength of Gitex is that it brings together partners and potential customers from around the world, to exchange ideas and share knowledge," says Ghalib.

"The challenge facing most organisations today is how to integrate different technology solutions-hardware, software and human resources-to resolve their business problems. We'll be working with partners like Sun, Oracle, SAP and CA-ME to provide real-life demonstrations of how these integrated solutions can work," he adds.
