Creative is targeting all types of audiophiles with its latest range of soundcards, the Audigy 2 series.

Available for demonstration at a noisy P4-1 stand, the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS is a 24-bit, eight channel soundcard aimed at people looking to create music using their PCs.

The Platinum Pro version of the new hardware comes complete with an external soundcard, which acts as a nerve centre for all your multimedia needs and also comes with a remote control. "This new range of soundcards from Creative caters for all your multimedia needs, from home cinema to making music," said Terrance Foo, regional sales manager, Creative Labs Asia.

Creative has also unveiled its Jukebox Zen NX MP3 player, which has a whopping 30GB memory. Foo envisages this product will mainly compete with the Apple i-Pod.
