King Abdullah II wins eAchievement Leader award

His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence, presented the award.

His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan won Arabian Business Magazine’s eAchievement Leader Award at a gala dinner last night. His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence, presented the award.

The annual event was hosted in parallel with Gitex Dubai by ITP, the leading magazine publisher in the Middle East.

“We are delighted to have been able to pay tribute to the extraordinary achievements of His Majesty,” says Walid Akawi, publishing director, ITP.

“His presence along with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum demonstrates the depth of cooperation between the UAE and Jordan in promoting ICT as a platform for economic growth,” he adds.
The winners were selected by a panel of judges gathered from around the industry.

They included Gilbert Lacroix of Intel, Emre Berkin of Microsoft, Joseph Hanania of HP, Husam Dajani of Oracle, Mubarak bin Fahad of DWTC, Samer Shaar of IBM, Ali Baghdadi of Aptec, Steve Lockie of TechData, Michael Collins of Dell, Ammar Alul of Canon, Hani Harik of Emirates Computers and the Editors of Arabian Business Magazine.
