AsusTek Computer is demonstrating the Asus Digimatrix at today's Gitex. It is a new desktop barebone system that delivers high-end computing performance, networking features, multimedia support and digital home entertainment all-in-one.

Targeted at 'couch potatoes and movie buffs' , the compact unit sports 15-pin D-sub analogue VGA, S-Video/HDTV and DVI output, plus direct connection to LCDs, projectors and plasma tube televisions. The built-in mini-TV PCI card further provides functions such as program recording, time shift and still video capture. And all of the applications can be accessed and operated with a remote controller while lying comfortably on the couch!
