Imaging storage and distribution distributor Valuevad has used its presence at Gitex 2003 to announce a deal with electronic document capture (EDC) specialist Dicom Europe.

The agreement encompasses marketing, technical support logistics sales and human resources.

Dicom will make its entire product portfolio available to Valuevad, while Valuevad will help Dicom channel its products and services offering to value added resellers, systems integrators and other customers in growing the EDC market in the Middle East.

“Since our startup back in 1999 we have always looked to Dicom as a model for our business development and we have kept a close relationship,” says Lars Jeppesen, Valuevad’s managing director. “I am delighted that this has now been formalised and that Dicom Europe has chosen Valuevad as their business partner for the Middle East region, it strengthens our position inn the market dramatically and positions us extremely well for the future.”

Dr Marco Di Antonio of Dicom travelled to Dubai recently to finalise the agreement.
“I’m very pleased with the outcome of our work with Valuevad in the past few months. The agreement reflects a common effort to increase the development speed of the EDC market in the Middle East.” F5-2
