Journalists, videographers and professionals in the education, military and medical business that have not yet gone to the Sony Business stand must make their way to the vendor's technology zone today. Sony is showcasing new fully integrated professional digital A/V solutions at its technology bar. Visitors can get a hands-on experience of the vendor's DVCAM camcorders, VTR line-up and the Edit Master series. Sony's new Video Archiving hardware and software solutions have also made their debut at the bar.

"We at Sony Business believe that integration is key, and as a result all our professional broadcast solutions are designed to interface with each other, making business communication user friendly," says Nigel Thompson, A/V marketing manager, Sony Business MEA. "Visitors will be able to have a go at operating our media production solutions and see for themselves how user-friendly they are," he adds.

Sony's solutions include disk-based recording, media archive solutions and the Studio in a Bag, a comprehensive digital studio with a DVCAM Camcorder, fully integrated NLE VAIO and accessories allowing field acquisition and editing. "Sony Business solutions offer customers here in the Middle East comprehensive and vital support services, including advice, design, consultation and implementation as well as full maintenance support service," enthuses Thompson.
