Cyclades is at Gitex to introduce its range of datacentre management solutions to the Middle East. The company, which has a number of major clients worldwide including USB, JP Morgan and Sun Microsystems, is promoting its serial devices, KVM switches and other datacentre management products.

“Our mission is to help customers reduce the downtime in their networks, increase the availability of their IT infrastructure and at the same time reduce their costs,” explains Claudio Bazzoli, international sales director, Cyclades.

The company is also promoting its latest offering, NQuiver, a device that troubleshoots all Linux products on a network, and then highlights problems, such as bad traffic or workstations using lots of bandwidth. Alongside this, Cyclades is also demoing its AlterPath Manager. This unit pulls together other devices on the network and then sends alerts to network administrators and also manages upgrades.
