Cirrus Software Labs has had a hectic Gitex, launching its business intelligence Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, Cirrussoft.net, and meeting numerous potential customers. “There has been a great response,” says Biju Ninan, COO, Cirrus Software.

“We have got over 15 sales leads and signed a major deal at Gitex. Our investment in the stand will be covered over the five days,” he adds.

The company’s main event has been the launch of Cirrussoft.net, a business intelligence solution that makes it possible to share information instantly across the globe. The solution gives transparency to a company’s operations and also generates up-to-date status reports for sales, warehousing, logistics, purchasing and other business personnel from laptops, PDAs and mobile telephones.

“Cirrussoft.net is built upon the tried and tested logic of a businessman with extensive experience of commerce in the GCC, North Africa and Europe. To this extent the solution addresses the real needs of the local businessman and provides complete functionality and intelligence to processes in all business functions, including finance, asset management, sales, purchase, logistics, inventory, warehouse management, HR, payroll and marketing,” explains Ninan.

“Furthermore specific modules, such as pricing, and claims & forex management, have also been designed to facilitate international trading firms operating within the GCC,” he continues.

Cirrussoft.net assists companies in all aspects of their operations, including inter-departmental processes and communication, as well as enhancing decision-making through the generation of numerous management information systems reports. The solution also integrates the entire supply chain, including the marketing team/distributor, customer and supplier, to generate a unified pool of information. This greater transparency provides all partners with all the details pertaining to any transaction. This information can be accessed via email, internet browser or mobile devices.
