CA-ME wins massive deal with Saudi's Ministry of Health

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health and Computer Associates Middle East unveiled a massive infrastructure deal at Gitex yesterday.

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health and Computer Associates Middle East unveiled a massive infrastructure deal at Gitex yesterday. Under the terms of the deal, CA-ME will provide the ministry with a range of enterprise management software.

The deal includes CA’s Unicenter management platform, BrightStor storage software and eTrust Anti-virus.

“Computer Associates Middle East is committed to providing exceptional quality service and support in the Middle East and this contract further solidifies our place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” says Abdulaziz Al Salloum, managing director, CA-ME.

The Ministry of Health provides free healthcare to all Saudi Arabian citizens as well as over two million pilgrims who visit the Kingdom each year. It is responsible for over 320 hospitals, with over 32,000 doctors and 67,000 nurses.
