Aptec offers free Informaguides for Nokia users

Aptec is offering visitors to its Gitex stand and its showrooms during Ramadan the opportunity to install a free electronic city directory into their 60 series and 40 series Nokia phones

Aptec is offering Nokia 60 and 40 series phone owners a free city guide for their phones this at Gitex. The distributor is providing visitors to its stands a free download of Informaguide, an electronic city directory for services in Dubai.

The Informaguide has been developed in house by Aptec, and provides a directory of information on Dubai that users can store in the memory of their phone. The guide will also be available to visitors to Aptec Nokia's showroom during Ramadan.

Linda Al-Tarifi, marketing manager for Aptec said: "This is the second free download that we have developed for visitors to Gitex. We have an in-house software developer for Nokia, and will be introducing Informaguides for Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain and the rest of the Emirates soon, and hope to have covered the whole Arab region sometime next year."

Visitors to Aptec can download the application to their phones in about 40 seconds. The application will also be updated in a couple of months with a new search facility.
