Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Health is set to deploy a number of products from Computer Associates Middle East (CA-ME) as it looks to improve the management of its IT infrastructure.

Under the terms of the deal, the vendor will provide the ministry with its Unicenter offering for network systems management, BrightStor for storage management, backup and recovery, and eTrust Antivirus for enhanced security.

"We are extremely pleased to announce this contract with the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health," says Abdulaziz Al Salloum, managing director of CA-ME.

"Computer Associates Middle East is committed to providing exceptional quality service and support in the Middle East and this contract further solidifies our place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We look forward to working with the Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia and helping in its rapid development in the healthcare sector," he adds.

CA-ME will support the implementation at the Ministry of Health from its Riyadh office, also calling on its teams in Jeddah and Al-Khobar if necessary.
