SAP drives Arabisation programme forward

The software giant has completed the initial stage of its localisation strategy with the Arabisation of R/3 Enterprise 4.7. SAP is currently working on mySAP Business Suite.

SAP AG has begun work to Arabise is range of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. The software giant has completed the initial stage of its localisation strategy with the Arabisation of R/3 Enterprise 4.7.

SAP AG is currently working on mySAP Business Suite.

“In an expanding global market, software that does not accommodate local language preferences no longer inspires user satisfaction. SAP fully recognises the need for the localisation of its products, in order to grow its community of dedicated users,” comments Essam Enany, president of SAP Arabia.

The Arabic version of SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 has the same functionality as the English version. The developers of the SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.7 Arabic have also taken in to consideration of the cultural and country-specific requirements of various countries in the Arab world, including for example, the easy enablement of Zakat, GOSSI and IQAMA (Saudi Arabian residency regulations).

SAP also expect to complete Arabisation work on modules of mySAP Business Suite, including customer relationship management, supply chain management, human resources and mySAP Financials.
