Emirates Computers has become an Oracle Certified Advantage Partner (CAP). The certification places the company in the top tier of Oracle partners, giving the company access to a wide variety of benefits, including increased consulting and technical support, more market development funds and improved priority access management.

For Emirates Computers' customers, this should translate into superior levels of service and access to better trained consultants.

"This upgrade from Oracle Certified Partner to Certified Advantage Partner represents a significant leap for Emirates Computers because it gives our clients the guarantee of a suite of application services from one of the biggest and most respected IT corporations in the world, whose standards are known to be stringent," says Hani Harik, president of Emirates Computers.

"This recognition will give us an enhanced competitive edge and puts us in a stronger position to fulfill our commitment to our clients. On our part, we will ensure that we leverage the certification to provide value additions and the most advanced solutions to our end-users," he adds.

Emirates Computers had to meet tough criteria before being awarded the CAP certification. Besides meeting a set of mandatory requirements, Oracle conducted a qualitative scoring on four business and technology attributes, which included performance, competency, strategy alignment and partner readiness.

"This recognition as an Oracle CAP member is a tribute to the high level of competency that the Emirates Computers team have acquired, underlining years of dedication and commitment to Oracle-based solutions and services," says Hussam Dajani, vice-president of Oracle Middle East.

"We are sure that this recognition will bring mutual benefits to both organisations and strengthen Emirates Computers' capability in delivering Oracle-based solutions and services to its customers," he adds.
